In order to give you the best possible experience please follow our tips in preparation for your ultrasound.

  • For 3/4D imaging hydration is extremely important! Please up your water intake several days to one week before your ultrasound. It will help increase your amniotic fluid which will help tremendously with imaging.

  • Have a piece a fruit, glass of juice, or light meal 15 minutes before the start of your appointment.

  • For an ultrasound 10-14 weeks, please drink 16 oz of water 30 minutes prior to session.

  • For ultrasounds 15 - 39 weeks, please do not void your bladder 20 minutes prior to exam; however, drinking water is not necessary.

  • In Home Appointments only:

    • Please have a common area cleared in preparation for the ultrasound. Living room couch tends to be the preferred area. 

  • In Home Appointments only:

    • If ultrasound is at rented facility for a baby shower please have a couch or chaise available for mom to lay on. 

  • You may record the ultrasound with your phones, but please stay back from the screen to give the sonographer room for the exam.

  • Please have all attendees present prior to the appointment, as we can not wait to begin our session from scheduled time.
